What does Print-Ready Artwork mean? - My Print Pal

What does Print-Ready Artwork mean?

Print-ready artwork is exactly what you think it is - Artwork that is ready for printing!⁣

But how do you do this?⁣

There are 2 important things that are needed to make a design print-ready:⁣

The Bleed - which is a 3mm of extended design that gets cut off with the guillotine after printing. This ensures the colours, pictures or graphics will go to the edge of the cards.⁣

And Trim - Also known as crop marks, they let us know where to cut. Everything beyond these lines is removed to leave your flawless design with colour flowing all the way to the crisp edges.

You can add Bleed & Trim on many different design platforms but if you're not sure just send us an email or checkout out the guidelines here!
